This second book in the Issa trilogy tells a mostly unknown story about Issa (known as Jesus in the Western tradition), who falls in love with a woman named Mirjan during his many travels to India and further east.After his crucifixion in Jerusalem, where he nearly dies but survives, he returns to India and marries her. Issa and Mirjan bear three children and live their remaining years in India. Told from Mirjan’s perspective, this book recounts the depth to which Mirjan was being prepared since childhood to make her own journeys into the worlds of Spirit, and eventually to meet and unite with Issa. It describes her childhood, her apprenticeship with a powerful shaman named Aisha, and what she learned along the way.
